Went to visit the wife's father on Sunday, very wet roads everything ok for 30 miles then hit a large patch of standing water the S/S and EML light came on the EML light flashing. It was better to carry on than go back. Limped the car to Aberporth and left it to dry out. After 2 hours armed with WD40 I sprayed where I could and the car started fine without the lights glowing.
All was fine on the drive home.
My question is what caused this (which connector) as it was probably water forced somewhere. Has this happened to anyone else. Is there a protector available. I don't want this to be a dry weather car.
Any help appreciated
