Hi All,

A Headlight problem now.

Doblo 1.9 JTD 2005

User Manual and just about all on eBay state I need H1 Bulbs for my Headlghts - H7's for dipped.

Dips OK.

But all H1's available seem to have a 1 Spade Connector and my existing Headlight Bulbs have 2 Spade Connectors.

Shape of the Bulb is the same - but need the 2 Connections.

Is there some sort of adjusting piece available theses days?

Can anyone throw some 'light. on the matter.
Best Rgds

Hi,
You are probably removing the h1 bulb completed with bulb holder from your head light. Just remove the failed h1 bulb from its holder and fit a new h1 bulb then refit bulb and holder to headlamp.
Best wishes

Hi jackwhoo,

Now I am feeling a little foolish.

First light tomorrow - weather permitting it will be head down under the bonnet.

Reckon you might well be right - will give it a go.

Must admit I was a little distracted by bad weather and the fact that it took quite some time to get those *@xx!? Dustcovers- off in one peice.

Just a twist fit and O ring - would not believe how stuck.

When you do not know a Car that well - first time into it - so easy to bust something - especially the plastics.

Thnxs for your time .

Best Rgds

Need to check again tomorrow - but it looks like I have the same base type in the Car as per the H7 for both Headlights H1 and Dipped H7.

The Dips are in a working

Some H1 have such a buff. And in some cable, the bulb holds the bulb, and that of the holder does not detach the bulb.
