Coming home tomorrow morning to get the interior in.

She is bewwwwwwdiful :) Sadly being from Australia I've never even seen a Y10 :(

Fitted the back number plane last night. Also need a light for the new recess. Bought a strip of self adhesive LEDs that are designed as daylight running lights to stick on the outside of headlights. Amazing how bright they are and how easy to install. Will put some photos on once it is finished.

Cheers

Nearly there with the dash. Very useful having a copy of a Y10 workshop manual.

Only a couple of bits that are a pain. The cables that control the heating and vent for example. Very little space to work on them and need to remember were it all goes for puting it back together.

More access from the engine bay

Need to get all the last bits out as it is going into the welders next week and don't want to leave any interior that could get damaged.

I have decided to go for Pasadoble Red for the bodywork. This is the colour that is used on Fiat 500's and other new Fiats.

So glad I took these photos as I am now trying to get the dash back in.

Will put some more pics on soon

Its a fearsome little dash to work with if your used to a Panda. Brittle plastics everywhere. When I bought mine the dash was mostly held up by the adjustable steering column. Do the catches still work on those rather lovely alcantara clad cubby doors.

Brittle as brittle can be. Trying not to stick my hands together with super glue at the moment :bang:

All the doors work apart from the one that hides the stereo thankfully. Did have to do a repair some years back so I feel your pain.

Hi Dave, I'm back watching progress, took me a while to catch up though!

The bodyshop have done a beautiful job, bet it looks even better in the flesh (y).

Interesting to see your no. plate light solution as I was going to convert a couple of my Pandas to these led strips. I've found that the original Panda lights get brittle with age and break all to easily, just like your dash.

Thanks Vernon

The LEDs have really worked out well and really easy to install. Very bright considering their size.

Got the dash all back in the other day but have had to take it back out as i had trapped a couple of wire for the stereo :bang: Don't like making extra work for myself.

Cheers

The final push now.

Dash in and all the stereo wiring working this time

Fuel Pump relocated to under the floor

Carpet and back seats in. Now I need to make sure there is enough space for small person when I fit the front seats
