Styling Led sidelights ?

Hi there,

I have 'white' led sidelights in my punto mk2 and at night time they look completely blue.
Will I get pulled over ? And could I argue that there white ?

Blue is blue
White is white

White can also be Ice white

I have ice white xenon bulbs and its more blue than those ...

As long as they road legal (should say on the packaging) and meets EU regulations etc etc. You'll be fine if not road legal and for off-road/show use only then I highly suggest removing them now before being faced with the police as they'd demand you to remove them on the spot.

Double check the packaging the bulbs came in and check that note, every LED bulb/other bulbs have these so people don't end up with problems with local laws and saves the store from getting in the crapper with the customer and law

Nightbreaker Plus are the best bulbs ever!

I'm sure Ziggy will agree with me on this

But they such great bulbs and improve visibility etc.

If no 'E' marked, which I suspect they are not, then they're not legal, and you'd be best to remove them.

That's a photo in day time they look white but a night the reflect around the silver housing and look blue will upload a other pic tonight when it's dark

I had those in my standard punto headlights, but didnt know what they were....never had any problems from local feds though, but if you want to play it safe id stick some originals in there.

It doesn't matter what we think, if not 'E' marked it's not technically legal.

An right there was nothing on description. The packaging was just a clear bag :/

I've have more on order waiting for them to arrive hopefully won't get in trouble lost the originals

As MEP says if not 'E' marked they shouldn't be fitted on the car unless they use is for "off-road/show use", every LED bulb I've brought it always says on the packaging "E" marked or says "road legal" which means get them fitted and drive and no flashy lights behind you or in front of you.

If you're unsure if they are road legal then contact the seller and ask if they are road legal or "E" marked, failing that, take the bulbs and packaging to somewhere like halfords or a garage etc and ask if they are legal,
