I found this "recycled leather" on eBay for £15 for 1m x 1.5m and thought I would have a go at leatherising a spare dash panel ;)

The panel arrived today and I had to quickly try this in my lunch break, not too bad for a first attempt, the leather is quite thin and stretchy so it goes into all the dips quite easily..... And is a great colour match for my seats, shame it has a different grain pattern, but as it is not right next to the seats I don't think it will notice..


 
Someone else on here did one and I believe opinion was that it's a 'Marmite' mod..........

It looks good from what I can see - I'd loke to see pics of it all done and in place though:cool:
 
It's your Fiat 500 seagull.. You can do what you want. I think it would look pretty cool to match the interior.
That's the great thing about the 500 - customizable, you can make it your own.
 
the whole point is that the dash panel should match the car paint colour :rolleyes:

Both of my 500's have had different colours dashes as the cars body.
