Technical Leak in water tank?

I have a 60 plate Fiat 500 that is having a bit of a senior moment!

I got the bulb changed at Halfords the other week and the bloke changing it mentioned that my water tank has a leak and is leaking coolant... which I guess I knew before now but didn't want to admit to! I have one of the bulb shaped ones (I'll attach a photo later) and it looks as though it is coming from the seal within the middle. Is it possible to seal this with anything? Or is it going to need a new tank?

I know nothing about cars so might be talking silly!

Welcome its a bit hard to understand, there's two most common areas that fail, the radiator and the expansion bottle(there's also the thermostat) is it one of these?

You’re better off getting a replacement on eBay. If it’s leaking from one of the hoses you may be able to repair it.

Whatever your gonna do make sure it’s ASAP coolant loss is no joke!!
