Technical LCD display into 2011 500?

Anyone know if the new 2014 LCD speedo/dash will fit into my 2011 500?

It's a whole new updated system so d be very doubtful, as an example the updated dash in the Punto evo is not compatible with the Punto grande even though they are the same car.

When they change one thing they tend to change the whole setup to match

Apparently they work on an Abarth so they should also work on a fiat

If you read the small print it only sort of works.

"a few features do not work"

"some functions such as the G force sensor, blue & me (on older cars) and some of the display showing the car in the middle of the display may not work depending on the age of your car"

I'd also expect you'll need to connect the car up to examiner or MES to align the new display with the body computer.

I suspect this will be no different to fitting a Stilo Abarth TFT clocks into a normal Stilo, possible, with a few features lost a mentioned, and a proxy alignment with MES.
