General £800 for a new clutch?

It was withdrawn again about two days later to be replaced by this at £1295. That's £800 extra for a replaced clutch. It didn't sell so it's now up at £1195, still £700 up on the original listing though..

Can't understand how they think people don't notice these things.

It said head gasket needs doing in the first add. Clutch and head gasket would come close to £500 + a bit of profit?
They still can't get the build number right after 3 adverts......

It says headgasket needs doing yet in the other adverts says nothing about clutch or hg being done, just timing belt???

So it does. Sorry, must have been having a senior moment.

But that's even worse. £800 for a head gasket and timing belt! Or just a belt!

Don't begrudge anyone making a profit but they could have been a bit more discreet about how much.

They could have been honest in the later ads as well saying the HG needs doing!!!

the belt is serviced on time or mileage they are trying to market that it is a good auto proper maintained etc.

saying you just had rebuilt will put off lotsa punters
