I would like to fit 16 inch wheels to my Fiat Bravo 1.6 but I am concerned about loosing a lot of performance in acceleration. Can someone who has already fitted 16 inch wheels answer to me his experience.

It depends...

Hi,

For my part, I do not think it is a good idea. Two years ago, I bought a Bravo 1.6 sx (1st generation, with 14 inch wheels). This car was really a good car. Gearbox ratios were perfect. Good performance in accelerartion.

Six month ago, I bought a Bravo 1.6 GT (2nd generation, with 15 inch wheels). Fiat changed the Gearbox ratios on 4th and 5th , and with the 15 inch wheels, the car is really not as funny to drive as before...

If you have a 1st generation, perhaps you can try, but on a 2nd generation, I think it is a bad idea...

Change it for a 1.8 GT before doing that :)
