Technical lambda sensor open loop ?

lambda will be in open loop sometimes. ie when cold, sudden change of throttle posisiton, full throttle.

did it actually show a lambda fault. why did u have it read? whats car doin?

the engine lights comes on when it is hot ~~ and i ran out of idea what it could be, so i get it read ~~

~And the light to come on consistenly when the car is hot ~

extra bit of info, i recently got the TB change as well ~~ , but the light didn't come on for awhile, then i put it in for a car wash then bang , the light was on ~~

The light wouldnt come on until its hot, because the lambda needs time to heat up. If its not giving any/or wrong input back to the ecu, it would flag a fault. If its not been replaced in the last 5 years/ 40,000 miles then i would replace anyways.

lambda sensors heat up very quickly (they have internal heaters), but if the engine is cold then the ECU will be running a cold enrichment. so wouldn't be paying much attention to lambda.
