Out of interest, does anybody know why when I used to sit at 30 behind a cop car they pulled away? Is it because they do speed or was my speedo out and they sit on their calibrated speedo? I always wondered! I would say I have seen plenty of not on call cop cars speeding but the whole calibrated speedo thing makes me wonder.

Ou yeah, saw a police car with only only headlight working, didn't want to flash them incase they reminded me of the highway code "only flash to tell somebody you're there".

Someone (can't remember who) was telling me the copper had pulled him for speeding but tore up the ticket when said person pointed his attention towards the fact he had one headlight out

On the way back from donny south we got stuck behind loads of traffic on the motorway doing 50 as a police land rover was only doing 50, i pulled out and over took him while the kids waved at him 10 mins later he came up the fast lane and pulled in at the side of me (i was doing 70) i smiled and waved as they drove passed. Talk about wanting a second look at my car
