My Mk3(2.5?) Punto Sporting seems to make a lot of knocking noises when pulling away/going over slight bumps etc, but only at low speed (well, I can only hear it at low speed anyway).

It sounds kind of "suspension-y" but I get the feeling it's not. Maybe coming from somewhere near the stearing column?
Thing is, it seems to knock at the back AND front of the car, but more noticably at the front...

Anyone else had this, and how did you sort it? Were Fiat helpful?!

Oh, the joy!! Guess I'll have to live with it then!

It's going into Fiat in a couple of weeks anyway so I'll have a maon then and see what they come up with - The whole damn car vibrates at speed (70mph +), yet all four wheels are balanced perfectly.

the car shouldnt vibrate at 70- deffo a problem there. Puntos are pretty good at handling high speeds (ive found they are anyway) i dont get any vibration even up to 95-100mph......just takes a while to get there thats all [}:)]

EVERYONE- SPRAY YOUR PUNTOS BLACK
