my blue key has just snapped in the barrel!!!! d'oh!!!!!! i can still start it with what's left on the key.about three quarters is in the barrel.where is the best(and cheapest)place to get a new one.I've got the red key.I've got a T99 1.6 HLX with the alarm fob on the key.i suppose i could get a copy of the key, minus the circuity bits, and use it for the barrel, and use the old fob to open/close the car.what do you think? any suggestions?

it is a hassle gettin a new key. not as easy at it used to be. you have to go to the dealer and get one made now.you have to take all your docs aswell. as you used to be able to go and get it done at any key shop.

if you have the red key and the CODE card it will be fine in any lock smiths. you bigger problem is gettign the key out lol!

whats CODE card?

its a card with codes on lol its liek a credit card size and has CODE on it and it has details on there of the key. although i think a copy of the red key can be made.
