Key snapped in ignition

Happened tonight and was still able to use it by pushing the other half in. Now it wonlt work at all.

Does anyone know how to get it out or is it a case of having to strip out the ignition.

Is it a big job? Expensive?

If you are very careful you can put the tiniest blob of superglue on the bit of the key you have, put it in the ignition, let it set to the other part thats snapped off then pull it out.

Thanks...

... but that sounds like a really bad idea.

Re: Thanks...

I am a motorcycle mechanic and have done it many times with broken keys and ignitions. It works 90% of the time, and if it doesn't, the ignition barrel has to be taken off anyway so it doesn't matter. It's worth giving it a go, unless you're a total clown you should be able to do it.

OK

I'll have a look at it tomorrow and assess it then.

Cheers.
