Hi, i have some questions about key programming firat of all i have the car second hand and i dontnhave the key-code card. So I m asking of i purchase a key from ebay is ot possible to clone my immobilizer to the new key so i will have 2 keys? Furthermore, if its possible to be cloned do i have to biy the exact key i have now? because i wanna buy the grande punto key that has remote buttons on it too. Also i have aftermarket remote lock/unlock system, is it possible to copy lock and unlock buttons on the grande punto key? so i dont have to carry both the key and the remote. Thanks in advance.
p.s. i habe a delphi ds150 that has an option for key programming, if i only cit the key to a professional, is it easy to clone it by myself? thanks once again

Grande punto is a completly different car... just dont go there.....

U need fiat examiner to clone keys / reprogram

I had to use a local company 3dautokeys to replace a dead key of mine....

So if i have the key code and a precut key, cant i just program it via delphi? as i saw on video it only asks for key code and to register the key number.
Also, as u said do i need the exact key? why is that? cant i get a flip folding key with a chip from aliexpress and program it with my code?
p.s. how much does it cost to get the key code from the dealership? and how much does it cost to get new key from there?

there is option in mes to copy keys, dunno if anyone tried it yet

If you want to program a key with MES it needs to be a key that’s ordered from Fiat by VIN number they are specific to each car.
If you want a remote key that looks like the Punto one they do exist but not from Fiat. You’d need to find an Autolocksmiths who deals with IEA.

No you can’t buy them from AliExpress the locksmith doing it would need to supply the key. They are a specialist key that works with the cars original system.

As long as the Locksmith has the equipment to do so then yes. The later style remote pictured above is made by a company called IEA and is only compatible with there equipment. So you would need to find a locksmith that has it.
