Key not workin?

hiya guys,i know this has been posted a few times but just wondering if anyonce can find a fault with my key?
Pics arnt the best (was hard usin phone close up) but someone has once said the connector may have snapped and just a case of solderin it back up? Well i dnt no what to look for lol,The right battery for the key is in.

Does the red light come on when you press the button? Have you changed the batteries?

This is the microswitch that needs resoldering should you have a fault with the red light not coming on.

Hi pal,na the red light hasnt come on since i had it.Its always been manual lockin.I have changed the battery ages ago to the right battery for the key (which i fort at first was the fault with it not workin).Ill try get another pic of the otherside of the chipboard see if you can see anythin wrong

Just resolder the 4 points on the microswitch and try it.

i got the same problem. but in my case the red light does come on. the car sometimes locks and sometimes it dont. once pressed the red light will just stay on until i take the battery out. what can it be? thanks

a sticky button perhaps? take it apart and try cleanin it.Just a thought

i have tryed that few months ago.. but still didnt work. even took it to fiat and they said you need new keys.

What about the actual relay,have you tried taking it out and cleaning the contacts or buying a new 1? see if that helps perhaps?

Red light staying on is a sticking button. Mine did it and i removed it, cleaned it and added a bit of ptfe spray on a cotton bud and wiped the button and plastic. Never had any probs since. At the same time my microswitch fell off, resoldered it back on and thats been fine ever since.

ahh i might have to see the relay then because whenever i lock the car. it unlocks it selfs after about 10mins or so.
