General just fitted a gsr induction kit

hi all

today i fitted the new gsr induction kit and just wondered whether it was ok to keep the vacuum switch and its leads of does it matter either way

Nah, you don't need them any more. The vacuum switch bit is for the hot / cold air selector on the standard airbox which you don't have any more - just plug the open end from the throttle body.

What you doing for a breather off the cam cover?

basically ive fitted the induction kit havnt done anything extra

Do you have a spare pipe pointing somewhere, or is there now an attachment to the throttle body dome-top with a pipe going to the cam box?

yeah i have a pipe leading into the black cover or the induct kit on the left hand side

That's good then, piping all sorted.

Have you taken off the bracket which holds up the multiplug for the engine loom at the front, right near the bonnet catch? GSR recommend it.

is that what is touching the cone right on the end of it

I've left that on on mine. Doesn't pose any probs to the kit and it's there for when the standard airbox needs to go back in
