This is the sei at 40mph in a frontal impact. The worst thing is that this car is meant to be the newer, safer replacement for the cinq. Ouch, safe driving people.
If we were immortal we wouldn't bother with insurance, and we wouldn't drive centos because we'd do armed bank robberies and shoot evry1 who tried to stop you. Because they couldn't kill you.
Reading the new Auto-Express today, they have an interesting feature on used car crash tests. They pitched the Seicento against a Smart in a 32mph head on collision. Quote "While the driver of the 1999 Smart would have got away with a fractured pelvis, our experts revealed that the driver of the 1998 Seicento would have been left in hospital with serious life-threatening injuries. Data showed the dummy in the Fiat experienced TWICE the load to the head as the dummy in the Smart. The Fiat simply buckled under force."
The picture is like the one above. At only 32mph the whole of the Sei has totally buckled and folded; the bonnet is completely gone, the engine supposedly embedded in the drivers shins. The Smart however only had front damage, and was the only car in the tests (which included a Ka, 106 and Twingo *snigger*)not to be written off!!
I dont know about you but im gonna be bricking it driving home tonight! lol.
Isn't a shame Smarts are so slow and have no room in the back for your missuz
Hi everyone. Two months ago i rolled my first chink sporting. Took a corner at 60 and the back end stepped out. Tried to correct it but over did it and went across the road. I hit the grass verge did a diagonal flip in the air followed by three rolls. The car was a right off but i walked away from it with no injuries not even whip lash. Not one of the windows smashed. Just shows how strong the chinks are. So much so I've bought another.

Front seats of the sei are perfect when they are folded almost flat
