Technical Jacking Point?

Is this a good place to use to jack your car up?



only i cant use the jacking points on the side as i want to put the axcel stands there and this is the only other place i can really see as being viable.

yeh thats fine, you can also jack on the sills where the cut outs are and get stands on the stand points closer to the edge of the car......u wanna get some WAXYOIL on there...i spy rust...

I always use that, and put stands under the jacking points on the sills.

On top of the stand I put two pieces of wood, one shorter than the other, either side of the seam on the sill, though I don't know if anyone else does that?

thats not to good an idea IMO because the seam is the strongest part, ive seen ALLOT of dented sills because people jack up fron next to the seam...also in the models with the skirts, you cant get to the outside of the seam because the skirt covers it, there is a small caut out so that you can juck it up from the seam of the sill.
