I've just changed jobs and now have a company car. It's a VW golf 1.6 se and it gives me the perfect chance to compare the so called Quality of VW.My lovely Bravo 100 sx has been sold to a good friend and he is chuffed to bits, it was a 2000 model with 6000 miles on the clock. Anyway I've owned the Golf for about 2 weeks and can honestly say it is a nice car .Very comfy and it seems much bigger than the Bravo. However it has a Crap gearbox the steering is nowhere near as direct as the Bravo and the Boot leaks. The brakes arent as good either,It is also a 2000 model so I feel it is a good comparison.In april i think the car scheme is changing so hopefully I will be able to be a user chooser and get a 2.0 litre Alfa 147.
So basically dont ever let anybody slag off the Bravo and look down there nose at it (as some people do).It is a great car and i really miss mine. (BOO HOO).You should all feel smug you have a better car than Golf owners for half the price.
PS even though I am now not a Bravo owner I will still visit this site Its Great!
