Technical Is my power steering motor on its way out

Mk2, Y-Reg, 1.2 8v
Ever since i got the car, there has been a slight rattle coming from inside power steering motor, but it has got worse, and now the rattle is worrying me, the rattle sounds like (bear with me on this), if you had a short piece of scaffolding bar, and you put a key inside it, and blocked the ends with your hands and shook the bar with the key rattling inside, thats the sound am getting, i have tryed tightening the 2 bolts on motor, but they are as tight as they will go

theire are 3 bolts so you might have just uncentered it
as for the rattling no idea

Best option is to get FiatECUScan and the correct cables (see the guides for SW). This will tell you if the steering motor is faulty. There is also a guide to tell you how to repair the steering motor (most of it anyway)
