General is my clutch on way out ?

i love my punto that much i am seriously thinking about splashing out on a full quids worth of petrol,and i dont mean in the tank :bang:

for last few weeks,when i floor it,i am getting more noise than power,sounds like a crappy automatic lol

is my clutch on way out ?

do i need a certain bit or full kit ?

it will be fecked after all that gearbox oil has leaked over it, you will need a new clutch kit

While you've got the gearbag out, change the whole clutch assembly, all three parts.

If difficulty in getting the oil out, clean with cola.

went and priced a clutch kit today

£65 i thought that was not bad likes,seen em cheaper on ebay,but .. .. its ebay lol

Bellhousing and a clutch full of gear oil is a good indication.

Check the geabox input shaft does'nt wobble. If it does the bearing in the front of the gearbox needs replacing. (not as bad as you might think). Very common for some reason on early mk2 cars.
