Ah, well spotted my friend! I have indeed sold my HGT and bought a Punto JTD. It was a total bargain as the owner died and I paid cash for it to "take it off their hands"! It was meant to be a short term thing before I get my Alfa 156 JTD, but I really love it and may keep it as well! The Barch is going into hibernation you see as its too cold here to drive it in the winter!

Quick and simple answer to this if its got colour coded mirrors its a mk2 if they're black its a mk1. also if your speedo and rev counter are round dials its a mk2.

also can tell by the fiat logo, if its the //// logo on the front then its mk1 if its the logo with reef around it, then its mk2

From what I recall the mk2 was a mid 99 revision as well

have a look here too https://www.fiatforum.com/modelguide/model.asp?id=18

I've never seen a Bravo/a with a new Fiat logo except for those who have done it themselves (mine obv. is from the second batch and has old badge) - is this true?

Realised where I got the new badge idea from. It was the Marea that had the new badge fitted on it at mk2 time

Aye, am trying to get one of those Marea grills right now, and don't worry, your comment isn't as daft as my speedo/ mileometer mixup over on another thread.....
