is it possible to change MK1 front body to an MK2

i was just wondering if it is possible to put the facelift of an MK2 on my MK1 98 punto

Everything is possible, just depends on the level of your ability.

It is not a bolt on job.

what would it involve ? i changed my drivers side wing yesterday after getting one from scrappy i have to go back to get a light due to the women hitting it

The whole front architecture is different, so you'd need to fabricate that, plus adjust the wings to line up with the doors, and probably have to section the bonnet to fit.

Why on earth would you want to?

why would u do this it would take some right for a start the headlights are differnt so it not fit

It's possible with ridiculous amounts of hard graft.

You'd end up with a very odd looking mutant car.

You could probably spend less just selling your car and buying a mk2 by the time you'd got all the panels together, altered the underbody structures, got it painted e.t.c. e.t.c.
