@ Wimmy and Kev - Mmmmmm, pies! Still, the chicken kebabs they do at the street stalls here are awesome and at only a pound a pop a real bargain.

@ Kate - it's for those reasons that I always go somewhere to get some sun at this time of year. As for the roast dinner well that depends, mainly on finding Shabash! exactly where I left her.

@ Gurjit - thanks for the offer chap but I won't be popping to Malayasia. Have plans to make it there one day though.

@ Chris - thanks for the concern chap but fortunately I'm nowhere near Bangkok and have only briefly been there once. If there's trouble brewing it's always there so bear it in mind sun-seekers. Given the amount of nutters with fireworks out here that sort of thing tends to happen. Indoor firework show that went bad so I've heard. "Mai di" as they say in Thailand.
