Iron Maiden!

My memory was jogged by Christopher W's favourite driving song and I associate good songs with ones that make you planted and drive possessed (road safety activists can fcuk off, you know what I mean) so Iron Maiden came into my head!

Who likes them?

I spent alot of my teenage years listening to Iron Maiden, GNR, ACDC, Mettalica, RATM etc some cracking songs which I might have to revisit!

Same here. I love all the old school rockers. I always prefered GnR. In fact I just bought the Use Your Illusion 1 dvd at the weekend. I have a nice collection of Iron Maiden picture discs in the loft somewhere. The soundtrack of my youth.

The best concert I ever was at was Rage Against the Machine at the Ulster Hall in Belfast. The lead singer started speaking out in support of the IRA at the end and started a riot. Half the audience were with him and half against and they went to opposite sides of the hall like it was pre-organised. RATM had to be escorted out by the police. I was too wasted to participate in the riot, but it was a blast all the same.

When I wasn't singing my heart out to Gloria Gaynor and Erasure I did like Faith No More..... Must of been the keyboard player

Just have to make do with garbage now.....
