i bought a software thing to boost the volume of my ipod off ebay but it seems to do **** all? any ideas? it says its uncapped but its no different?

the only way you could software boost the volume would be to change the mp3 files and this would lower the quality of the music

no it does work, because they are restricted for the EU requirements, and you can get rid of this and have them louder.
