iPhone 5 launch

well I have just set my iPad to install iOS 6 so will be seeing how good it is shortly, followed by my phone. the terms of use said nothing a bout wearing my underpants on my head.... well i say that it might do i didn't actually read it meh i'm sure its fine.

anyway i will be sure to insult anyone who doesn't agree with my opinion once I have decided what my opinion is.

Seems its easy to make things look crap when you don't put everything down. But I thought the apple fans response was rather funny,

I thought the apple fans response was rather funny too - especially as they forgot to edit the 'A totally different plug', the fact that the S3 is a quad core CPU, has a higher quality front camera, uses the google cloud, has had panoramic photos for years etc....

Only thing i hate about iPhones..

the amazing ability to CRASH during updates

updating to iOS6.. crash.. restore and reset. :bang::bang:

Probably that unless you're on EE (EverythingEverywhere aka Orange & Tmobile), your 4G iPhone 5 will forever be stuck at 3G.

There is no frequency left for the other operators to run 4G on except a frequency that the iPhone won't work on.

Neither will any 4g phone this has nothing to do with the phone it is a network problem so android iPhone or windows phone it makes no difference they are all affected the same

not sure yet. Blurb at the start mentioned something about a rip off though. so doubt it will be as hilarious as the no reception if your left handed thing.

ITS THE ADAPTER :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

people complaining that Apple said it would be Free, and now there charging £25...

sounds like apple are supported by the Lib Dems..

Wooo for been on EE. and here's the evidence ;)

I'm on operator 'Volxstu'. I didn't think you were Jailbroken? Also I've been jailbroken under warranty since it came out for the IOS version my phone shipped with. Screw the warranty. Just restore it if needed. I love the iPhone Jailbroken.

As is usually the case with any iOS update apple's servers seem to be extremely slow and have been erroring for much of the evening, iPad updated to iOS6 with no problems but many apps also launched compatible updates at the same time (about 20 apps to update) so the demand for the new iOS and the app updates means currently there isn't enough capacity to update my phone and the apps are very slowly getting there only about 4-5 left but they are taking a very long time.

Same thing happened this time last year, but there are some 95million iPhone 4S as well as iPad3 and touches now all demanding updates aswell

:(

Oh ok lol. Maybe I'm on EE too. I can't remember how to to set the name back to the carrier to find out lol.

The one thing that does annoy me is the fact that T-Mobile and Orange put on an Inflation charge this year so we have essentially all been paying for this EE since May. My contract went up £2.06.

You would have had a text telling you that you are on EE, I'll forward you it. See if you recognise it.

My contract hasn't gone up, not what I've been told about anyway...

I've had no real problems updating my iPad (3). Slightly slow to download (at 18:30). Progress screen took a while. But all app updates have been as quick as normal... (and I do like the fact that you don't have to sign in; and they're all now on one screen...). Siri on an iPad's going to take some getting used to, though...! (y)

The different plug is theoretically an update. Smaller, lighter, faster, more durable, digital. I'd say that's an update people are pissed they have to buy the adapter for there old docks, which Is completely understandable I suppose. It doesn't affect me so much, my grande has an aux lead mod. So it doesn't affect my in car use and that's all that bothers me. And the s3 does have quad cores but barley uses them unless your heavily multitasking. But you shouldn't do that anyway unless you have too much battery power lmao. Also if you check the tinterweb and its ever so reliable sources  there are a few benchmark tests showing the iPhone 5 running faster processing speeds than the S3 on many tasks.
