Hey all,
Been a lurker for a while now, in the last month I've gone from owning no cars to owning 1 car, to 2 cars and back to 1 car.. First car being a Seicento. Second car being a 126P.
Scrapped the Seicento but kept the engine.. to put in the 126P. Wanted to do this for quite some time now!
Anyway my question(which I have tried researching with not much luck) is, I only kept the engine and left out the loom believing I'd just go the aftermarket route to get the engine running once it's transplanted into the 126. Unfortunately, I've now seen the price of some ECU's and the sheer amount of work that'll need to be done in order to do this.
Is there a cheapish option for Aftermarket ECU's to get the little 1.1 running or is it worth me picking up a whole loom and standard ECU and just modifying it?
I've got a few projects on the go and am apprentice so it's not like this'll happen overnight but I just want to get clued up as much as I can now to prepare myself!
