It's the classic "Cinq Flatspot". Only thing that can releave it fully is to get an induction kit. To help though, remove the rubber ducting on the front-right side of the airbox to allow colder air in

I had a k&n which didnt fully cure the flat spot problem, my GSR induction kit however, does (but fit the kit yourself, dont let him fit it, my horn is still sticking out the front of my bumper! :p)

Does the GSR make a nice noise like the K&N? Also does it give any better performance.. other than fixing the flatspot? Where does one get hold of a kit?

a cool £112 but worth every penny. Noise is sufficient and power is about 4bhp increase
