Got an annoying intermittent fault with the wipers on the 93 Selecta.

Sometimes they work sometimes not. Last night I stripped it down checked the feed which seemed to have power, checked the motor which was fine and cleaned quite a bit of greasy gunge off the tracking unit which controls to auto park (probably been applied as new that to lubricate it).

When I put it back together it worked fine for ten minutes then stopped again. It could be a broken wire, but I strongly suspect the auto park or the delayed action unit is causing this. Anybody had issues with these?

Can you get them as spares, or has anybody got one lying around?.

It could be the actual wiper motor
Will check for you
If you post on “panda parts request” thread
Thanks

I did post on the parts thread, looks like it slipped past you.
Motor itself is fine with a direct connection. Looking at photos of them I think the intermittent and park unit is supplied separate, I may be wrong though.

Didn’t want to swap the motor as such.

I had the same problem and it turned out to be dry connectors inside on the little circuit board.. clean any brown bits off the solders and then re solder each join. It worked for me!
