General intermitant fault on sei

hello again guys. right so im looking at buying another cento but the seller says the car stops running randomly possibe causes hes been told , exhaust sensor, coils, bad contact relays, engine sensor, immobiliser, fuel pump. i was just wanting to know if anyone has come across this problem before and what is it most likely to be any info would be a massive help

Hi Scotty, and welcome back.

I would head straight over to the cento forum and I'm sure that the guys there will be able to narrow it down a bit for you and give you a list of the possible causes in the most likely order of relevance.

When it cuts out next check for spark and fuel past the injectors. If no fuel past the injector(s) and no spark (when cranked, of course), it has to be the TDC (aka crank) sensor.
