I want to re-upholster the inside of my car, in something more tasteful than the original manufacturers trim, which in all honesty is pretty gash... door cards, plastic trim etc...

anyone know where I can get this done, or find the materials to do it myself..?

id take my car 2 a place like carisma or if u realy want 2 do it your self u can get viynl from a fabrick shop it looks like lether and lasts longer hope that helped m 8 :D

Thanks... Not sure i want viynal though, something a bit more classy a like alcantara or something, not bothered about doing it myself just for a laugh ;). Not sure what the stuff to use is... any Ideas?

My dads an upholsterer and hes done my car in leather, he gets his leather from Yarwood, see below.

Alcantara is very expensive though, sometimes more expensive than leather, he gets Alcantara from a company called Segals in Manchester. But if you looked in the yellow pages under Motor Trimmers then you'd find one closer to you.

Theres apparently something similar to Alcantara but a damn sight cheaper called Alécante

Thanks for the help so far... haven't made any decisions, any more suggestions (sensible ones!) are greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, after careful research it seems that you may be suggesting that I unholster the inside of my car with a tourist region of Spain! ;)

Thanks for your help. I'll keep my eye out for a deal on this and let you know the results!
