Technical Interior light not working!

Well hello to you all, I hope you're all well. I'm back and I have a problem...

...My interior light's not working! The rear is fine and the two map lights work, but the centre front one doesn't. Bulb's fine too. I'm stumped. Any ideas?

And my how things have changed! Thread prefixes?! Eh?!

Photoshop, no mate! It is a dedicated server I rent in Holland - use it for my downloading needs 100/100Mbit pwns.

So to you and Minimad
You don't say whether your interior light
works on manual select
only works on driver's door opening
only works on passenger's door opening
doesn't work under any conditions

It would give better clues as to where to start looking. Easiest first step is see if there's power at the interior light and check if there's an earth being supplied there -then you know whether you're chasing power or earth fault

Not been yet. It may sound loony but I'm a bit gutted I haven't had chance! I've done over 6 years, and granted I've been all over (Cyprus, Brunei, Gibraltar, Most of Europe to name but a few) with work, but have never actually been deployed in my war time role. Not much call for it at present (Thankfully, I'm a casualty decontaminator!))

Decks, the centre light doesn't work at all, not on the switch, nor on the door opening, nor when the keys are removed from the igntition. All other interior lights are fine though!
