Technical Intercooler Questions

I know I've started similar threads to this but this time I've got some numbers. So here are the dimensions of the stock one: 573x130x55

So locally I've found 2 options:
550x180x65 = 6435000 64%
550x230x65 = 8222500 +100%

64% obviously being quite a change and I'm sure the better one to go for.
Next thing though is the 65mm part, could I just get a 70-55 adapter pipe and the job would be done, of would mounting be an issue? Anyone with any info please let me know. I've also tried to find info on the intercooler with eLearn but can't find anything on the damn program. I'm going to speak to my garage about it when I get my car back. I've also tried to find the details for the Forge one they had up for the grande punto but I cant seem to find any. Here are the links:

Is that lost number not the depth of the cooler from front to back?

Bigger cooler will mean a drop in boost pressure also

Pretty much but if you look at the link for the ebay one and think about it, it also seems that will be the pipe thickness.

Pipe diameter isnt s problem. Silicone couplers are inexpensive
