Hi guys, quick recap on my story......had an accident (not my fault) and my brava got written off and I was offered £1600 for it. I accepted and the insurance company (AXA) said us all your docs, and we will send payment within 6 days. Sent the docs off last friday, phoned up today and they say they havent got them !!!!

This also means I cannot get insurance for a new car from them (still have six months insurance left with them) as this claim is still unsettled because they havent got my docs. They also wont provide proof of my protected no claims bonus because the claim isnt settled.

what do I do now, not my fault they seem to have lost the docs.

you can get replacement v5 from dvla within a few days if you say you lost it. You should be able to get an mot copy from the garage that did it for a small charge and they should sort the insurance.

I take it that you have no proof of postage or certified true copies of the docs?
