I got a quote from Liverpool and victoria, it was £1090 for my first year on a cinq sporting, at the end of my first year they would give me an extra year no claims, so that i would have 2 years no claims, if i managed to get through my first year without any claims.
Also they stated that any mods i did to the car would not increase the policy as long as i did not increase the size of the engine [8D]. So me thinking this i asked about a turbo, but they said no as it was my first year.[V]
So i am in favour of liverpool and Vic as well, Brian (Dj_Bucho) got told the same about modding and not increasing the size of the engine[8D]

im a named driver on parents insurance, its 450quid a year with all mods declared- it didnt even increase with the mods [8D]

er i use admiral, htye are quite cheap but just dont write off your car - the staff are a bit thick. lol and i am actually trying to reccomend them....er elephant were quite cheap too

I work for an insurance company but the one I work for are bloody expensive even with my discount!!!
Elephant,Norwich Union Direct,Endsleigh and Budget are probably the cheapest.

Oh and not all companies use the Group of the car to determine the cost I know Budget don't. CIS are cheap but of you ever have to make a claim your screwed.

Unfortunately, lads will get a raw deal anywhere.
Insurance companies view us (fairly rightfully so) as a major liability until we're abt 24! Being married helps, but who's really going to be married at 20?
