instrument cluster power

please help does anyone know why my punto instrunent panel should suddenly lose all its functions, the van still starts but there are no lights at all, all i have is the clock which is flashing:bang:

Probably a loose connection, somewhere, or a dodgy earth. With all this rain around, it's not surprising that damp can cause such problems.

Worth cleaning the earths, and protecting with Vaseline. Ditto, the connections to the battery (although that would probably affect starting, too...). Finally, check there's no water getting into the fusebox, in the engine bay, and that the scuttle isn't full of water.... :idea:

I think there may also be an earth behind the dashboard -- but you'll need a wiser brain than me for that....
