Technical installing new brake pads (ABS)

hi guys

I have a mk2 1.2 8v, with worn front brake pads
I would like to change them and I need some advice related to:

1. for ABS I need brake pads with ABS sensor? (I dunno how the sensor looks like)
2. I have read that the ABS sensor is on the left wheel brake pads
if that's true I need to connect something?

I have opened only the right caliper and the job seems easy so far... I dunno about the left one with that sensor...

There is no mention of having to do anything with the wheel speed sensor when changing brake pads in the Haynes manual. I know that you don't have to worry about buying pads with sensors on them, pads are just pads!

I've done the job on my 8v non-abs and it is very easy. But anyway, as far as i know, the wheel speed sensor is part of the hub itself and you don't need to touch it to change your pads.

some come with wear sensors but if you don't need them just cut the cable off the back of the pad
