General Install Remote Central Locking

I recently bought a 1.2 that has central locking but no remote capability, could anyone tell me how difficult it would be add this and what sort of cost I would be looking at.

Also would the universal kits on ebay be any use.

All your gonna need is a remote receiver to mount into your car, and the keyfob for it. You will be able to wire it into your existing CL system.

EDIT: Your looking at £25ish for the unit.

iirc thats just the locking motors and interface - no remote... ill double-check

There are alos some on ebay...by a seller called "rightclick" i think. Have installed a few of these on puntos and seicentos and brava for mates, all seem to work pretty well!

I think he was on about the universal central locking kit, but its just the locking motors and not the remote receiver.

The portman alarm should do it, and you'll have the alarm aswell.

yeh, i got a kit off ebay a couple of years ago, worked a treat! still going now
