Technical injection light info

when i turn on my ignition,the injection light turns on for about 10 secs,should i always wait for it to go off,before i start the engine? its a 97 sx75 1.2 8v

I'd rather say thats 5 sec... Its perfectly normal for all signals (including air bag) to light when you turn on ignition. Some people advised me to wait until check engine turns off because i could create electronic probs (?). Not sure is that sure but anyway i practise to wait. Don't know about you but i got no better things to do during those 5 sec
