General Indicator dash light - stuck on

Had a nice drive along some contry roads earlier in the week, lots and lots of puddles. Anyway, when i got home i noticed the indicator light on the dash was on even though the indicators weren't on. Went away after i put each indicator on individually but is it a common problem and does it need attention?

? can't remember ever seeing that one, have seen batt light etc on after ign off but not indicators.

The hazards are the only indicators that will work with ign off so would have a look at the switch or earthing first.

Theres a good chance they got rather wet - it was a VERY fun road!

The ignition wasn't off when the light was stuck on, engine was still running. I should mention that it was only the dash light on AFAIK, the actual exterior indicators weren't on
