In your area, who drives the modded cars?

I see I'm the only one who voted 'only one round here', I feel like the only gay in the village from Little Britain LOL I am one of those business women in suits who drives round like a bat out of hell and let me tell you, most men do not like being overtaken by a woman (espcially one in a 1.2 but they don't know that).

Oddly, my Coupe is modded, but doesn't look it, and my Panda looks modded, but isn't.

Well depends how you classify round here, as you could say CWC was round u in which case cant be just u but then i could say banbury round here (7 mile off) which does have others, but im one of a couple in the village, the other being a horrid horrid saxo iirc

Theres a few "Chav" cars (Rims, exhaust, neons and thats it no attempt to make it "Personnal")

But there a nice Maestro(?) Turbo and a nice Escort RS Turbo in the same driveway.
My bro has a mk3 VW Polo GT
My mate has a polo GTI
Other mate as a MK1 Golf GTI
Other mate has a 106 GTI

And thats it!
Not many modded cars about, except Valley Park on thursday night!

Modded cars are quite common around my area. A fair few old skool ones kicking around like Escort Mexico's, Chevettes, Stags then there is obviously the textbook lexus lighted, 1metre suspension drop, 99999999999999999w sub-woofered neoned (doubles bhp you know)Saxos and Corsas etc, but not many of them. Also in Dewsbury and Batley there are a lot of Asians who drive nicely modded Golfs and Jap cars which are mostly very tasteful . On the other side on the M1, not too far from here,, we have notorious chav car central, Ponty and Donny.....oh and Sie in Leeds! hehe

All in all, a fair mix in this corner of the world

I wear a shirt and tie to work.. this time of year you cant really see it as i wear a flease over the top. plus my cinqi not exactly modded... yet just lowered it today.


When I had the blackun going to work was fun it is odd seeing a smart person driving a modded car specialy such a little cheeky thing

I have that problem now! Wearing my full suite in that.

Although I have yet to work out what attracts more weird looks, suit in the car, or heavy metal coming out the windows?

Its a mix around me, i have a modded car but its not ott i get noticed and have lads chasing me in there fake dump valves on novas and corsas, but half of them i see is in a morning as iam going to work in suit and so are they. I have only seen 3 modded puntos near me so its refreshing to see a fiat done up than the typical norm. I did nearly want to slap this girl at a house party on new years eve as she said i had a cheap chavish car!! had to walk away. she doesnt even have car so i couldnt let her tyres down doh lol

Then theres me. . I would do the suit if I had a need to...cos I do agree that suits and buckets \ harnesses etc would look cool..

In my area of dublin its a fair mix. Theres some who you can tell are just into it as a hobby and make their car just look smooth,then there are these bleedin banditos drivin their micras n fiestas with ultra chrome lexus lights and drilled exhausts blaring 50 cent out of either a bog standard factory radio or a big dirty sub weighing more than the car.theres these supermarkets over here (prob have them in britain) called lidl and aldi which sell all manner of things from food and booze to clothes all at next to nothing prices (good beer i must ad),buta while ago they were selling this roll of adhesive chrome strip for 4 euro or sumtin,so now every f*ckn dirt in the county has adorned their cars in this ULTRA TACKY chrome striping. They cover everything on the car,basically putting these stripes on every line of the car and around the doors,sooooooooooo BAD!!! It makes me laugh though that after they had finished doing this they said to themself, "yeh that looks really really cool,i think ill drive it around like this!"
