500 (Electric) Impressed with my new Fiat 500e

Introduction

I picked up my Fiat 500e yesterday, it was 100% charged drove 68 miles to get home, most were highway miles, drove 70-75 at times. I was impressed when I got home I still had 61% battery left. I thought that was very good. I am Happy with the car.
Glad you like your 500e . my wife loves hers and she has really adapted to the one pedal drivng and I must admit I like the car and very impressed with it .one thing I have not managed to sort out is how to charge to a certain percentage as I can with my Skoda ie to 80% .any advice would be welcome

It is better to slow charge your car, I have been experimenting with the charge times and schedule. I have an electrical rate break for charging my electric cars with the Electric company. from 11pm until 7 am so my schedule is level 2 charging for 8 hrs. gets close to 80 percent charge. So experiment with times and charge levels and see what works for you.

Cheers I will try that

My wife has just gone to an electric Peugeot E208. We love it! Fast, instant response and torque, instant heating and a real world range of 150 miles.

Charges really quick on ultra fast chargers, tried one the other day and in 5 minutes had added about 12% charge.

Went with Octopus at home with an Ohme charger, automatically charges at 7p per KWH overnight.

For comparison it costs about 2p a mile to run. According to the app it cost us £17 to do 1000 miles the first month we had it.

I run a Fiat Ducato Motorhome at the moment, I can’t wait for the battery range to improve and go electric for that.

Wish we had done it a few years back now.

There isn't a direct way of setting to a % charge. Bad Brad's method would be an indirect method to do this should you choose to or feel the need to. I've answered in a bit more detail here:-
