Tried to start the car after a short stop last night and it wouldn't start and displayed "Immobiliser Faulty"
Tried the second spare key but no joy.
Used another car and tried the Ulysse a hour or so later and it worked fine.
And has been fine since.

Was this just a one off?

Or a symptom of something more serious?
Any clues as to how to resolve it a short notice if it happened somewhere inconvenient?

Thanks

I had the same thing last week. I had disconnected my battery to reset ECU for central locking. When I connected the battery, the central locking worked fine, but the first 5 attempts to start, the car gave the same message. Waited for 5 minutes and message disappeared and didn't come back... Don't know what could have caused it on your car.

;) If it keeps happening have the fuse box under the bonnet out and check for water ingress. Quick reset is to disconnect the battery for a bit then try again If display shows engine imob fault re-marry key to ignition (press hold lock button on key while you turn on to off three times ) And try again.
