hi ive just bought my first brava, im a bit concerned though as was only given one key which is blue, i have tried to get another key cut but ive been told by my local key cutter that i have to go to fiat (something to do with codes) which will cost about 300 pounds. can anyone help, is this true or not ???

This is correct! You should have been given a red key when you bought the car. If you recently bought it from a garage go back and demand that the red key is given with the car as it is incomplete without it.

By the way - welcome aboard. Another site that will be a great use is http://www.bravo-guide.co.uk It should contain everything you should need to know about your new Brava. Once settled you can then join BOO (Bravo/a Owners Organisation) http://www.fiatboo.co.uk

Fight with them.

If they cant give you a red key, they should be getting you a replacement from fiat. It would be like getting a car with only 2 wheels!!

Did you buy the car from a dealer and do you have the car's handbook. If the answer is yes to both read through the first part of the book and find the section where it talks about the master key. Bookmark the page and then go back to the dealer and tell them they have sold you an incomplete car and ask them to either rectify the situation or compensate you for the omission in the advertising.

If you bought the car privately or the deal sheet says "Sold As Seen" then you are stuffed :-(
