I always love italian cars, i own a 3200 Maserati and have recently just bought a Panda 1.2 2004 to get to work in.

I have owned Alfa Romeos and i love these cars.....

Im new so go easy

I have had the panda for 2 weeks, done 1k, i know it needs a service as it was done 10k ago but its started to judder low revs....what could it be?

Hoping its a service and not clutch!!

Regards
Dem

Hello and welcome! We're not so bad here!

Get a full service from someone reputable and have it checked out.

My clutch went recently but I didn't experience and judder beforehand. It started revving when the clutch was out.

Hopefully it's nothing that a good service wouldn't sort out.

I have to have a service and cambelt.....

Im also getting 260 miles out of a tank, is that right?

It does sound low.....

I'm on diesel, so probably not the one to ask. I would get about 430-450 on average. Best I did was 483 once.

I did have a 1.2 500 as a courtesy car and got 50mpg from it.

I want a 100hp but was concerned with economy

The 100HP isn't not too bad on fuel, mine spends the majority of its time doing city driving and when it does leave the city it gets driven "enthusiastically". I average about 35mpg. I'm sure 40mpg would be realistically possible with more open road driving and a lighter right foot.

As someone mentioned earlier, I think the 1.2 engine in the 500 or Panda should be capable of about 50mpg.

sounds slightly low but depends how you drive
i get about 48mpg approx 320 to a tank but always fill up when light comes on
1.2 8v 2004 dynamic
trip varies between 47 and 48.9 and thats motorway and round town

I have a 2004 eleganza with 96k.....
Love it but i fill up when it gets to empty, when the range shows nothing....

260 now on 3 fill ups....i even tried super unleaded and still got the same

I save it for the weekend toy haha
I just need economy from this car but i work out a low mpg, how am i suppose to get a 100hp in a year!!

Wow..i don't think i'm ever below 2k revs..:D

must admit im similar, had car 3 months had done 33k when i got it just done over 35k now, dont think i have had it over 4k revs for more than a few seconds but usualy between 2 & 3k revs even on motorway. normaly drive between 50 and 60 mph no hard acceleration ( unlike my punto that was like sh:t off a stick ) bought the panda cos punto was making too many noises at every pothole and wanted to get that little bit more mpg as now working further from home.
