Sx is more about the luxury variant, power windows and metallic paint

Cinquecentos and phase 1 Seicentos only came with the 1.1 FIRE as a Sporting.

The S and SX and all the limited editions were 900cc in the UK.

The 900cc engine was dropped with the facelift Seicento when they all got the 1.1 FIRE.

Is the 900cc SX really sought after?

It's relatively clean, not too much in the MOT history about rust, but it's still an SX on pogo stick suspension with the rattly old pushrod engine.

Can understand Sportings being sought after, but not the S / SX or any of the derivatives.

Cinquecentos are rare these days, so any tidy example is desirable to an enthusiast. I get the impression it's the same story with mk1 Puntos now as well.

Interesting

Thanks for that-

For some reason, I had always pidgeon-holed the SX in my mind, as being the same engine as the Sporting, but without the wheels, suspension and other mods.

As I'm holding out for the 1.1- I'll pass on this one...
