I have a punto 1999, Mk1 1.2 16v sporting and when i come to start it there is a high pitched whirring noise, then turn key again and it starts usually, but then sometimes, when engine starts the whirring continues for a couple of seconds. Does this sound like a starter motor problem, or something else, like coil?
