i like how women always complain how we leave the seats up, but poor old man struggles on and NEVER complains that they always leave the seat DOWN!!!

Sorry to be all serious, but woman are genrally better at parking, because of the extra cones in their eyes. Of course there are exceptions.

Oh dear, I'm the only person in our house who complains about the seats being left up and the lids for that matter. My more common complaint is not screwing the lids back on jars, which I usually complain about just after I have picked up the jar by the lid and the contents has gone all over me.

I don't know about the theory of the situation but I'm pretty sure that in practice Men are better than Women at parking.

Studies show otherwise, they are also better at collision avoidance. Embarrassing, I know.
Basically in men's favour is confidence, against them is aggresiveness.
In women's favour more cautious, against them less confidence.
They are only general rules, and things like spatial awareness, speed of reactions, eyesight to mention a few play a large part.
